Produced by Cool Up Records, Yard On Fyah Riddim arrived in 2022 as the label’s first one-riddim EP, pairing a Rub a Dub instrumental with a brass-led rhythm section and a clear early dancehall feel. The set brings together Virtus on Yard on Fyah, Yeyo Perez on Burn Di Ganjah, Paulinho on Your Light, and High Paw with a new mix of A True, plus the instrumental version from the label itself. Cool Up Records, based in Seville and led by Mario Garcia aka Tenor Mario, has built its name on reggae releases with a live-band edge, and this project leans into that same approach with tight musicianship and a straightforward roots-to-dancehall balance.
