Joshy Beatz and JC Productions take a sharper, more song-driven route on WWW. NIIFTF Riddim, trimming the set down to seven cuts and keeping the focus tight rather than packing it with names. The release runs just 16 minutes, and that lean runtime suits the quick, hype-heavy soca approach here, with Boxamoney and Voltage TBG kicking things off on “Overdose” and Spyout landing the closing “Run Road (Anthem)” with the kind of finish that sounds aimed straight at fete season. Certified Nella’s “Clock It” and the two-voice turn from Musical Deadly and Peng Pang on “Draws Ah Fly” give the middle of the sequence a bit of shape. The tracklist moves like it was ordered for a live set, starting with a hard opener, easing through the vocals, then ending on an anthem note.
