Outaroad Productions kept World Cry Riddim moving through the 2010 dancehall stream with a compact five-track set that leaves no room for clutter. Alibra’s “Very Time, ” Delus with “Wise Up, ” Konshens on “The Children, ” and Tiana’s “Ts Love” all ride the same framework, but the cut never feels overcrowded; it has that terse, street-level pulse you’d expect from a one-riddim pull-up aimed squarely at selectors. Konshens is the name that jumps out first, and his turn on “The Children” gives the project its sharpest edge, while the instrumental version at the end lets the production breathe just enough to show the riddim’s shape and muscle.
