Wheelahs Riddim – Ionesphere Music

Wheelahs Riddim is a 2024 roots reggae compilation from Ionesphere Music, released on October 10 and led by Ione Angeles, who brought together 11 songs from 11 artists. Prezident Brown opens the set with Sweetest Ting, while Never Alone pairs Ione Angeles with Revelashan, and other highlights include I’ve Got To Learn by Imar Shephard, Jah Time by Isha Bel, and Just For You by Earl Zero. The project leans into a conscious, reflective mood, with strong female representation alongside veterans like Prezident Brown and Earl Zero, plus newer voices such as Ashley IRAE, Natty Remo, and Ilaya Malaya. It was created as a roots-driven collaboration built around the Wheelahs riddim and has a clear California-to-Jamaica connection in its production identity.
