Godspeed Riddim – Bonnot Music is a 2024 reggae set produced by Bonnot Music and Heavy Hammer, bringing together seven cuts from Anthony B, Gappy Ranks, Kumar, Derajah, Rekall, Charly B, and Bonnot himself. Anthony B’s Forward To Africa, Gappy Ranks’ A Place For Me, and Kumar’s African Crown were among the early singles, while the later additions of Derajah’s To Mom With Love, Rekall’s The Wicked Shall Fall, and Charly B’s Every Nation round out the vocal side alongside the instrumental version. Walter “Bonnot” Buonanno is known as a multi-instrumentalist, DJ, and producer, and this project marks his first collaboration with Heavy Hammer. The riddim carries a roots-heavy feel with a strong consciousness theme, anchored by an African-minded title and message throughout.
