The Wheelahs Riddim project arrived in 2024, during a time when reggae rhythms were seeing a revival among new and classic artists. The project was produced by Ionesphere Music, a label known for its roots reggae productions and commitment to conscious music. Ionesphere Music has worked with a range of reggae artists over the years, helping to keep authentic reggae sounds in the spotlight. This release brought together respected voices in reggae. Prezident Brown, known for his deep roots style, contributed "Sweetest Ting." Prezident Brown has built a strong international following and is recognized for songs like "To Jah Only" and albums such as "Journeyman Pilgrimage." Ione Angeles and Revelashan teamed up for "Never Alone," blending their voices over the solid rhythm. Revelashan also appeared solo with "Are You With Me?" showing versatility on the project. Imar Shephard added "I've Got To Learn." He has been active in the reggae scene, known for heartfelt performances and singles like "Impossible." Isha Bel contributed "Jah Time," continuing her tradition of conscious lyrics and strong vocals.
