We Rule The Dance Riddim - Live, Love

We Rule The Dance produced by King Jammy for Live, Love in 1987

King Jammy produced We Rule The Dance for Live and Love in 1987, a tight late-80s dancehall set voiced by Chuck Turner, Frankie Paul, and Horace Andy. Chuck Turner’s We Rule The Dance leads the lineup, while Frankie Paul’s Ready For Your Loving and Horace Andy’s Love Light Of Mine bring the soulful side of the rhythm into focus. The same riddim also links back to Frankie Paul’s Sara material, which helps place it firmly in Jammy’s hard dancehall era, when slick digital production and big vocal hooks were changing the sound of Jamaican music.

    We Rule The Dance Tracklist:

    1. Chuck Turner – We Rule The Dance
    2. Frankie Paul – Ready For Your Loving
    3. Horace Andy – Love Light Of Mine
