War Bus Riddim – Ja Productions

Wasp’s “Kill Poverty” gives War Bus Riddim its sharpest opening jab, with JA Productions leaning into a hard, gritty dancehall cut that feels built for the street rather than the radio. The full set keeps that pressure on: Kiprich brings the brash, chatty edge on “Nah Bruck, ” Munga rides the rhythm with “No Obstacle, ” and Kalado’s “Bleed Out” pushes the darker side of the sequence. Ice Cold and Stacious close things out with radio and raw versions on a couple of cuts, which tells you this was aimed squarely at DJs and selectors in 2016, when stripped-down riddims like this were still doing heavy work in the dancehall circuit. The whole release runs 11 tracks and lands in that tense, bass-heavy pocket JA Productions likes to mine.
