Rok Dem Records came with a tight little 2021 dancehall set here, and the draw is how lean it is: just four tracks, three voices, no fat. G Maffiah’s “This Year” feels like the opening shot, pure forward-motion energy, while Eazyboy Checkers gets doubled up on “Gone Fi Di Victory” in clean and raw versions, which tells you that tune was meant to move both radio and the dance. Toleda’s “4 Season” rounds things out with a cooler, more seasonal flex against the same hard-edged riddim.
