A raw, bass-heavy dancehall cut with a little dub pressure in the mix, Unity For Man Next Door Riddim leans into the darker side of the early-2010s pull-up era rather than chasing anything glossy. B-Dub and Reggae Revolution keep the framework tight across six tracks, with Marcello Coleman’s “Babylon Will Fall (Dub Mix)” setting the tone and Jahmento’s “Ancora Un Giorno” and Snapshot Camp’s “Youths Dem” giving it some of the sharper vocal energy. There’s a nice international feel too, with Virtus and Mark-One adding to the sense that this was pitched as a crossover dancehall set, not just a local crew flex. Compared with the more standard club riddims B-Dub and Reggae Revolution were putting out around that time, this one feels more militant and spacious, and it sits neatly in their 2013 catalogue as one of the tougher, more roots-leaning dancehall productions.
