Ungrateful Riddim – Di Version Production

Di Version Production keeps this one moving in a straight, no-frills reggae lane, with a cast that leans on veteran voices and a few sharper contemporary cuts. Carlton Livingston opens things with “Who Says, ” while Pad Anthony closes the sequence on “I Can’T, ” which feels like the kind of booking that gives the riddim some weight at both ends. The title cut from King Charlton and Jah Marnyah’s “Who Is To Be Blame” sit nicely alongside Anthony John, Spectacular, and Brave Heart, keeping the theme rooted in frustration and reflection rather than big splashy hooks. There’s a nice sense of order here: the voices are spaced out so the energy rises and settles in waves, like the producer wanted each singer to land before the next one comes in.
