Culture and Anthony B, Jc Lodge, and Junior Kelly are all respected names in reggae music. Culture is best known for their classic song “Two Sevens Clash,” a track that became an anthem in the late 1970s and remains important in reggae history. Anthony B is celebrated for his powerful voice and conscious lyrics, with well-known songs like “Fire Pon Rome” in his solo career. On this project, Culture and Anthony B join forces for “Two Sevens Clash,” bringing together roots tradition and modern energy. Jc Lodge and Junior Kelly, both recognized for their smooth vocals, team up on “Love You Like That.” Jc Lodge made history in the 1980s with her hit “Someone Loves You Honey,” while Junior Kelly is known for his successful single “Love So Nice,” which topped reggae charts in Jamaica. The reggae track base for these songs was built to capture the spirit of classic reggae from the 1970s, but with a fresh style for the 2000s. The production was handled by VP RECORDS, a famous Jamaican record label founded in 1979. VP RECORDS has released many important reggae and dancehall albums, including works by Sean Paul and Beres Hammond.
