Twang Master Riddim – Dbeatzz Music

A lean, hard-pushing dancehall cut with a crisp twang in the guitar and a dry, rolling groove, Twang Master Riddim keeps its focus on just two voicings and leaves plenty of room for the rhythm to breathe. Bling Rass opens things with “Back It Up, ” while Cutty Ranks closes the set on “Stalk Me, ” the more recognisable name here and the track that gives the release its edge. There’s no sprawling version package or long artist roll call to pad it out, just the pair of vocal cuts sequenced as a tight two-song single. Dbeatzz Music put it out in October 2014, and the release runs to seven minutes across the two tracks.
