Tombstone Riddim – All Carib Records

From the 2003 dancehall run out of the All Carib camp, Tombstone Riddim comes with that lean, gritty early-2000s energy: a terse one-drop pulse, clipped drums, and a dark bassline that leaves plenty of room for the voices. Baby Quinn’s “Wave Your Rags” and Hotta Flames’ “Why She Cheat” lean into the uptempo party-and-relationship angle, while Marvelous on “You Dun Know” and Ninja Dan on “Dont Cheat On Me” keep the riddim in sly warning-song territory. It’s a short set with just five cuts, but that actually sharpens the focus, making the version side feel like part of the statement rather than a throwaway.
