The Xxx Riddim (2019) – Da Piko Promote

The XXX Riddim comes in as a full 13-track dancehall set, with a lineup that leans hard into the rougher, street-facing side of the genre. Snipa’s “Bagdad” with Lord Directa and Linkhan’s “Ay Di Yo” featuring Tai J give the riddim some early pull, while Maxxi Dready’s “Body Wine” and CC’s “Never Play” keep the energy tight and physical. There’s a nice spread of voices here too, from Kenzy and Misie Sadik on “Dancehall Ting” to Dexterman, Ninja Naplay and Crocadile, which keeps the project moving without feeling repetitive. Da Piko Promote put it out in late 2019, and the whole thing lands like one of those compact regional dancehall packages built for sound systems and selectors, not polite listening.
