The Alley Riddim – Wildgeese Record Production

The Alley Riddim came out in 2020 from Wildgeese Record Production and leans into a roots-conscious reggae set with 14 tracks from 13 different artists. The lineup brings together Al Sencere on Give Thanks And Praise and Ragamuffin, Bobby T and Real Flava on Time Is The Master, Colonel Lloydie on Dem A Cry, John Blacks on A Long Time, King Shadrock on Money Lover, and Mikey Dangerous on Your Love, with additional cuts from Prince Pin, Romeo Django, Ckoo Slim, Singing Honour, and Steve Machette. One of the defining touches here is the mix of devotional, social, and herbal themes, moving from Give Thanks And Praise and Love Is The Answer to Smoke Sensimilla and Wolf. Wildgeese keeps the riddim varied but grounded, and the project also includes a couple of multi-artist combinations that add extra movement to the showcase.
