Tawch Up Riddim comes in lean and sharp, with just five cuts and no wasted motion. Jungle Jesus Entertainment keeps the frame tight, letting Knaxx’s title tune do a lot of the heavy lifting while Posh Morris rides the same bounce with “Flava” and Gold Gad digs into the money-minded pull of “Rich. ” The whole set has that raw, street-level dancehall feel, the kind that leaves room for the voices to cut through without crowding the beat. Posh Morris and Gold Gad are the ones who really stick in the ear here, and the way their delivery sits against Jungle Jesus’ production makes the riddim feel tougher than its small tracklist suggests. A quick one, but it lands clean.
