TAKE CARE RIDDIM produced by SOWEEDO RECORDS 2006
Take Care Overview
In 2006, dancehall clubs were full of energy. The music was loud, the bass was heavy, and people danced all night. The Take Care Riddim was made for this scene. Its beats sounded just like the dancehall hits of that year, with a mix of classic style and new ideas. DJs loved to play it, and the crowd always responded. Behind the scenes, the mixing board king made sure every sound was clean and powerful. In dancehall, the person on the mixing board is almost as important as the artist. They shape the riddim, making it ready for both radio and big sound systems. The producer, SOWEEDO RECORDS, played a big part in this release. SOWEEDO RECORDS is known for supporting singjay artists and helping new sounds reach more fans. The label has worked with many reggae and dancehall acts, and their releases often get good attention in Europe. The artists on this riddim brought their own styles. Apach gave us “Thug,” while Daara – J performed “People Have To Care.” Daddy Mory, famous for his work with Raggasonic, brought “Faut Cuisiner.” Harry Toddler & Mr Face joined up for “Look Gal.” Siaka & Kory did “Bad & Dangerous.” Each song added something different, but together, they made a strong dancehall collection. Even today, selectors still pull out this mix for old-school vibes.
