Symbolic Riddim arrived in September 2020 under 6ixReal Records and Attomatic Records, the production arm linked to Squash, who was already steering one of dancehall’s loudest street movements through the 6ix brand. The riddim sits comfortably inside that lane: hard-edged, minor-key, built for war talk and sly flexing, with a clipped, digital bounce that keeps the drums punchy and the bass low and mean.

The biggest pull here is the collision of generations and crews. Vybz Kartel and Squash join on “Moon Walk, ” a headline pairing that gives the riddim instant weight, while Chronic Law and Daddy1 turn “Style Shot” into a grim, chest-out duet. Both songs ride the rhythm with the kind of sharp phrasing and controlled aggression that suits this era of dancehall, where melody and menace often move together.
