Sweet Melody Riddim by Journey Music arrived in 2023 as a five-track reggae set led by Jamaican artist-producer Patexx, with voices from Yung Bredda, ISasha, Black Loyalty, and Adana Roberts across songs like All for You, God Bless Youth, Rescue Me, Good Draw, and Low Mi. The project came together after Patexx was inspired by the Trinbagonian accent and Carnival energy on a first visit to Trinidad and Tobago, and that influence shows in the warm, melodic feel of the production. It plays like a compact, vocal-focused riddim with a slower, easygoing pace and a clear positive message running through the whole selection.
