Survival Riddim produced by Reality Sound 2025
Survival Overview
The journey of the one drop base in reggae music has always been about roots and rhythm. This year, the Survival Riddim brings that classic sound to the front again, reminding listeners why the one drop beat still matters. It all starts with the roots craftsman, who carefully shapes the riddim, making sure every note feels true to the foundation of reggae. At the center of this project is producer Reality Sound. Known for his dedication to warm, analog tones, Reality Sound has worked for years to keep the roots reggae spirit alive. His label has released several notable riddims, and his work often appears on reggae playlists around the world. Reality Sound’s attention to detail helps each track sound rich and natural, keeping the tradition strong. The Survival Riddim features a select group of artists. Chrisinti delivers “Love Inna Yuh,” showing his smooth vocal style that fans have loved since his early days. Natural Black, best known for his hit “Far From Reality,” brings “Rebel” to the mix, adding his unique voice and conscious lyrics. Rod Taylor, who made his mark with “His Imperial Majesty” in the late 1970s, returns with “Songs Of Praises,” bringing a veteran’s touch to the riddim. Steve Matchette joins with “Robbery,” adding a fresh but grounded sound to the lineup.
