Livewyah Records delivered Summer Sun Riddim in 2020 as a short, three-track dancehall set with Eminoxx on So We Dweet, Jed-I on Hardcore, and ShaqStar and Java linking on Nuh Program. The release keeps a lean lineup and puts the focus on the instrumental rather than a crowded cast, with ShaqStar the most prominent name in the mix. Livewyah Records, based in Brooklyn, has used the same direct approach on other 2020 and 2021 riddims, and here that stripped-back format gives the project a clean, tight feel without stretching past its core idea.
