Street Fathers Riddim – A DemLitrik X DjTecniks

Released in 2023, Street Fathers Riddim is a dancehall project from A Dem Litrik and Dj Tecniks, produced for Afro Vision Studio and Still We Rise Music. The set brings together a mostly Zimbabwe-rooted lineup that includes Dobba Don, Abhuja Boys, Arbolish, Empress Cici, Gun Powder, Ipa Yout, Jnr Spragger, K Commander, Mad Kudasso, Potato, and Unruly, with a loose, street-level energy running through the whole package. Dobba Don’s Sunungurai is one of the key cuts, while the instrumental closes the release and gives the riddim room to breathe on its own. It’s a fairly broad showcase, with 17 tracks in all and 18 artists across the project, and it follows the same A Dem Litrik and Dj Tecniks production lane that later fed into other Afro Vision and Still We Rise releases.
