Salesman Riddim – A DemLitrik X DjTecniks

A Dem Litrik and Dj Tecniks produced Salesman Riddim in 2023 for Still We Rise Music and Afro Vision Music, and the project brings together 19 reggae cuts from a mostly Zimbabwe-linked cast of voices. Dobba Don’s Malume, Empress Cici’s I Need Peace, Gun Powder’s Im A Lion, and Yappi Bantan’s Love Again give the set some of its clearest hooks, while the title cut appears as a final dub version from the producers themselves. The riddim leans into a roots-to-dancehall balance, with songs that move between uplift, prayer, and tougher street language. A Dem Litrik’s name also anchors the release as both producer and artist, giving the compilation a strong personal stamp.
