Sterling Pound Riddim – Scrappy Music

Scrappy Music’s Sterling Pound Riddim arrives as a lean 10-track dancehall set from 2018, and the twist here is the way it keeps circling back to the same tough, streetwise pocket without sounding overpacked. Flava Don’s “Tonight” and Iya Champs’ “Gallis” both get radio and raw versions, which gives the project a little extra push, while Spit Fyan’s “Fresh To Death” and Don Frisco’s “Bad Wagonist” lean into the rhythm’s sharp-edged bounce; the whole thing sits at just under three minutes a cut, with Scrappy G closing it out on the instrumental.
