Down in the 2019 dancehall shuffle, Soul Tekker Riddim arrived as a compact seven-cut set from Pryce Wayne Musiq, with each tune sitting in the same tight pocket but still leaving room for different personalities to cut through. Cracka Don’s “Squeeze” and Kidd Darkness’ title track lean into the rawer edge of the riddim, while Andre Lyrisis’ “Magic” adds a cleaner, more melodic touch that gives the whole thing a little lift.
