Soul Rider Riddim lands as a seven-artist Zimbabwean dancehall set from Bad Company Records, with Mutsa, WIDJET, Yudah and Bobby Tanza carrying most of the weight across the project’s one-riddim format. The sequencing keeps the voices moving cleanly from cut to cut, and there’s enough space for each song to breathe without the production getting cluttered; IRatty’s “Kids That Are Hungry” gives it one of the sharper turns. Bad Company had already been putting out a steady run of 2021 riddims around that period, and this one sits right in that same crop. Soul Rider Riddim was released in November 2021.
