Wiz Records keeps the Souflet Riddim tight and lean, a three-song soca set that landed on June 21, 2019 with Benjai, Mario Toussaint and Jamesy P carrying the whole thing. Benjai’s “Joy” opens the sequence with the sharpest hook, and at 155 BPM it’s got the kind of quick-footed pulse that makes the riddim feel ready for the road without crowding the vocals. Jamesy P’s “Bam Bam Antixx” and Mario Toussaint’s “Jump Start It” sit alongside it like three different angles on the same jumpy, carnival-minded groove, with no filler and no extra version cutting into the flow. That stripped-back tracklist says the production team wanted the songs to do the talking, each one landing cleanly before the next comes in.
