Skipe Riddim – Zig Boi Music

Skipe Riddim arrived in 2015 from Zig Boi Music as a six-track soca set made for the Carnival season, with Olatunji Yearwood on Bang Bang, Palos on Bubblers, Pumpa on Chop Stick, Swappi 4D on Center, and Terri Lyons linking with Santana on Work. The release also closes with the instrumental Skipe Riddim cut from Zig Boi Music itself, giving the project a tidy showcase of vocal versions and the bare riddim in one package. At just over 16 minutes, it moves quickly but keeps a clear Trinidad and Tobago party feel, with Bang Bang and Work among the most notable cuts in the lineup.
