Smoke Shop Studioz keeps the Skelleon Riddim tight and vocal-heavy, with six cuts and eight artists moving through the same 2012 dancehall groove. Eyesus opens with “Appleton, ” while Gaza Maxwell’s “Girl Yuh Shat” and Invaydah’s “Weed” lean into the rude and playful side of the set; Lindo P’s “Want War” and the Patexxx/Vypa pairing on “Nuh Gyal Own Mi” push the energy harder. Marlon Binns and Elgoba’s “Never Fail Me” gives the lineup a slightly warmer turn, which helps the project breathe between the tougher selections.
