By March 2015, Zion Productions had this one moving with a tight six-track dancehall set that keeps the energy jumpy and direct rather than overworked. Big Dog’s “Mad Bounce” sets the tone with a cheeky, club-ready pull, while Flashy’s “Jabon Azul” and Jahricio’s “Do It Suh” keep the pace sharp enough to carry the whole thing without sagging. Kriminal Brain’s “Babylon” and Versatile Kenia’s “A Likkle Bit” round it out with the kind of straightforward singjay cuts that made these mid-2010s riddims travel well across sound systems. It’s a small project, but that’s part of the charm: no excess, just six artists riding the same bounce in quick succession, right in the middle of that 2015 dancehall wave.
