Rudimental x Original Koffee x Winny – Send Shots

“Send Shots” finds Rudimental back in the pocket they helped define: glossy, bass-driven, and built for movement, but with Caribbean heat at the centre. The track pairs the London collective’s springy, percussion-led production with Original Koffee’s clipped, melodic delivery and Winny’s softer Afro-reggae tone, turning the title into something less confrontational than it sounds. It plays like a sharp, flirty cut with bounce in the drums, a clean low end, and the kind of vocal interplay that keeps the energy shifting rather than settling into one mood.

Rudimental have spent more than a decade bridging UK dance music with soul, reggae, and drum’n’bass, and this collaboration sits comfortably in that lane. Koffee, the Spanish Town, Jamaica artist born Mikayla Simpson, broke through as one of reggae’s most compelling young voices, winning the Grammy for Best Reggae Album with Rapture and later widening her sound on Gifted.
