Jamdown Records’ Silent River Riddim, also known as the Aftermath Riddim, is a 2000 dancehall set that pairs the label’s production with a tight run of voices from the era. Beenie Man comes through with Lots A Girlfriends, Tanto Metro and Devonte deliver Whatever Comes To My Mind, and the combination of Nadz, Danny English and Cecile on Silent River adds another strong cut, while Spragga Benz and Tanya Stephens bring extra edge on Nuh Mek It. The release also comes with radio and bashment versions on several tracks, which gives it that classic early-2000s dancehall feel and a little more range than a straight one-version juggling.
