Five Star Family’s 2023 dancehall set Serenata Riddim brings together five Spanish-language cuts across a tight, melodic rhythm. The lineup features Young YY on Vinculo, El Peka on Amor Farzante, Big Yalo on Stay With You, Smoothchild on Ultimamente, and JassonG on Polos Opuestos, with the project also circulating in instrumental form. It’s a compact showcase with just five tracks, but it gives each artist enough room to work the riddim in a different way. Five Star Family was also behind Raspazon Riddim from the same year, which places Serenata in a productive run for the label.
