The Searching Riddim came together in the studio with a clear vision. The producer wanted to create a sound that honored classic reggae but still felt fresh for 2018. The team at AL.TA.FA.AN RECORDS led the project, known for their focus on street culture and authentic reggae vibes. AL.TA.FA.AN RECORDS has worked with both rising and established artists, building a reputation for quality riddims and roots releases. The creative direction was all about strong percussion, deep basslines, and arrangements that let each artist shine. The riddim echoed the golden era of reggae, but with crisp modern production. This approach made the release stand out, especially as reggae fans were looking for music that respected tradition but also moved forward. Nelly Stharre brought soulful energy to the track "Joy And Pain." She is known for blending conscious lyrics with warm melodies. Jahvibe added his own style with "Round And Round," giving the riddim a smooth, uplifting feel. Junior Kelly’s "Searching" stood out as well. Junior Kelly is famous for his hit single "Love So Nice," and his voice added a strong message and emotion to the project. Christophe Rigaud contributed "Chatty Mouth," showing off his unique vocal delivery. Raging Fyah and Mr Williams teamed up for "Liberation." Raging Fyah is a Grammy-nominated band, and their collaboration brought even more attention to the riddim.
