Built by Dia Fearon and the Builders camp, School Riddim arrived in 2000 with a tight four-song dancehall line-up led by Anthony B’s Guide I And I, Determine’s Weep Not, Norris Man’s Last Days, and Yami Bolo’s Stop The Blood Shed. The riddim also carried a strong social message throughout, with the artists leaning into conscious themes rather than party talk. Anthony B and Yami Bolo bring the most familiar voices here, while Determine and Norris Man help give the juggling a steady, roots-minded feel. It sits on the College Rock/School family of riddims, with the Builders version marking another turn on a pattern that had already been used before.
