Ruption Riddim – Knish Ruption Entertainment

Don Pree’s “Program” feels like the sharpest cut on Ruption Riddim, the one that gives Knish Ruption Entertainment’s 2021 juggling its edge without losing the street-level pulse running through the whole set. Vynn XL opens strong on “Our Ting, ” but it’s the way Don Pree and Sleazy T sit over the same taut, menacing rhythm that really tells you what this riddim is chasing: tough talk, hard drums, and a compact dancehall swing that leaves no dead space. Jah Wayne, Ziggy Don, and Jav Dawk keep that energy moving through the back half, with “Man A Killa” and “Bad Gal” leaning into the grit rather than dressing it up. It’s a nine-track drop, and even “Hole Inna Dem Head” slips in like a last jab.
