Rum Riddim runs on a brisk, carnival-ready soca pulse, all light-footed percussion, glossy synth movement, and that easy jump-up energy that makes the title feel inevitable rather than forced. Noah X keeps the vibe compact with five cuts, letting Dee 1’s “All About You” and Izies’ “Bottles Up” carry the flirtatious, party-first angle, while Freakelus leans into the cheekier side of the rhythm on “On Mi Face. ” Master J’s “I Like It” and Nagalus’ “No Horn” round it out with the kind of playful call-and-response spirit that was all over 2014 soca, when producers were chasing hooks made for the road and the fete.
