A taut, mid-2010s dancehall juggling with a darker edge, Rude Intent Riddim leans on sharp, streetwise cuts and a no-nonsense pulse, with Mavado’s “Smoke A Mi Law” and Masicka’s “Forever” giving the rhythm its clearest hooks. The package is kept interesting by the sequencing: Masicka and Chavez each get clean, radio and raw versions, so you hear how the same voice plays across different mixes before the set closes out with the instrumental.
