Rosegold Entertainment’s Roof Top Riddim came through in 2010 with a sharp, no-frills dancehall cut that feels built for sound systems and street rotation, all clipped drums, rolling low end and that tense, night-time energy the title suggests. Beenie Man’s “Under Curfew” and Mavado’s “House Top” give the juggling its heaviest names, while Charly Black, D’Angel and Flippa Mafia keep it moving with lean, direct performances that sit right in the pocket.
