Produced by Warr Buss Records in 1997, Ringworm Riddim is a rare dancehall set with eight tracks and a strong lineup led by Boom Dandymite, Demo Delgado, Elephant Man and Crackskull, Harry Toddler, Richie Stephens and Singing Craig. The cut list leans into the rude and playful side of late-90s dancehall, from Boom Dandymite’s Nah Left Mi Condom to Elephant Man and Crackskull’s Anyway We Get It and Richie Stephens’ Ay Ay Ay. James Williams handles the instrumental version, which helps give the rhythm its own identity beyond the vocal cuts. Demo Delgado’s From A Gal Want Mi also ties the project to his wider 1997 work on Warr Buss, making this one a neat snapshot of the label’s dancehall sound that year.
