Right Over Truth Riddim – Prat Boyz Sound

A dusty roots cut with a Spanish-language edge, Right Over Truth Riddim came out of Prat Boyz Sound in 2013 with ten tracks and a tidy, conscious lineup that keeps its message front and center. Lasai’s “Revolution” and Morodo’s “Divina Ciencia” fit the mood best, riding a warm, dubby swing that leaves space for each singer’s delivery without losing momentum. Bman Zerowan, Lion Sitte and Roe Delgado add their own angles, so the riddim moves between uplift, critique and streetwise reflection without ever getting overcrowded, and the closing medley mix ties the whole set together with a nice little afterburn.
