Raging Riddim – 3p Productions

Eazi and Rochelle open Raging Riddim with “Slippery When Wet, ” and that’s the cut that immediately gives the 3P Productions set its spark: playful, cheeky, and aimed squarely at the jump-up side of soca. The rest of the project keeps that quick-fire, party-ready energy moving through Jubal’s “Freak Mission” and Stage Muzik’s “Gyal Wuk, ” with only three voices on the riddim but enough variation to keep it from feeling thin. Compared with some of 3P’s broader catalog work, this one feels more stripped back and performance-driven, less about stacking a long guest list and more about locking in a tight groove that singers can ride cleanly. It sits neatly in the 2017 soca run as a compact, road-friendly release built for the dance and the fetes, not the long haul.
