Weedy G Soundforce’s Racer Riddim comes in with a brisk, hard-driving dancehall feel and a tight little vocal cast that keeps the focus on the rhythm rather than clutter. The set lines up Charly B’s “Hot Girl, ” Joey Fever’s “Love Will Live, ” Mandingo Warrior’s “Nuh Fraid, ” Perfect’s “Fire, ” Skarra Mucci’s “Fast Money, ” and Wonda Prince’s “Wine Fi Me, ” with a clean version cut tucked in the middle for DJs and selectors. Perfect’s take and Skarra Mucci’s “Fast Money” feel like the sharpest pulls here, but the whole sequence keeps its momentum. It’s a seven-track release, issued in 2011.
