Providence Riddim – Jah Works Promotion Sound

2023 reggae found Jah Works Promotion Sound steering the Providence Riddim, a four-track set that pairs Yoskelo’s Happy People, Bill Sax’s Providence Horns, Antony Que’s Herbs For My Brain, and Iwake’s Providence Dubwise. The project has a clean, compact feel, with Iwake handling the riddim and mix and Leodica adding trombone and melodica across the release, while percussion comes from Aurel Percu. Issued as a 10-inch EP from Jah Works Promotion in Montpellier, France, it leans on a small lineup but keeps each cut distinct, with the horn-led title track and the dubwise closer giving the riddim its clearest shape.
