2016 reggae brought Lockecity Music Group’s Prayer Water Riddim, a compact four-song juggling led by Queen Ifrica, Beenie Man featuring Anna Mariah, Lutan Fyah, and Bling Dawg. The release centers on a mellow, acoustic-leaning groove with soft guitar and sparse percussion, giving the singers room to push conscious lyrics and reflection rather than hard-edged dancehall energy. Lutan Fyah’s Please and Queen Ifrica’s Another Hit Song are the key cuts, while Beenie Man’s One Psalms adds a thoughtful prayer theme and Bling Dawg rounds it out with Say Dem Love Yuh.
