Z2diz Music’s 2020 Planet Earth Riddim brings together nine reggae cuts with a conscious, earth-focused theme, led by Mikey Melody’s Wake Up and Turbulence’s Praise His Name alongside songs from Dappamann, Zion Head, Centro P, Run JA Boss K. A, Jah Lightenin Mountain, and Buggy. The set includes a full instrumental from Z2diz Music, and the lineup leans toward roots-style messages about life, Africa, and social awareness rather than dancehall hardness. Z2diz Music was presented as a new label in 2020 with a clear focus on conscious music and unity, which fits the tone of this release, and the project was released in September 2020.
