Outstanding Riddim – Goldliner

2018 was still a busy year for dancehall riddims, and Goldliner’s Outstanding Riddim sat right in that wave with a compact set of songs that lean on sharp, digital-era energy rather than anything too polished or glossy. Wisely’s “Angel Eyes” gives the juggling an early lift, while R6’s “Too Long” and Curtisy’s “Panty Fly” push the pace with that blunt, street-ready edge dancehall was leaning into around that time, and the raw versions tucked beside them make the package feel aimed at selectors as much as casual listeners. Whyaless’s “Proud” and Reignn’s “Gwan” keep the tension moving, and the Goldliner Records instrumental closes it out in clean fashion.
