Get Rich Riddim (2018) – Liberty Corner

Liberty Corner keeps this one in straight dancehall territory, but the title and song names lean hard into money talk and party bravado rather than anything overly glossy. Released on May 11, 2018, the nine-cut set runs just about 30 minutes and lines up a spread of artists that includes Screech Dan and B Fortune on “Best Party, ” Nardo Ranks on “Pum Pum, ” and Jerry Johnson aka Jerry Alphonso closing with “Easy Goings. ” There’s a nice contrast in the middle of the sequence too, where the rowdy “Party Now” and “Girlz Dem” sit beside “Love My Mommy” and “La La (Love Song), ” which keeps the riddim from feeling one-note. The producer keeps the sequencing tight and familiar, with each vocalist getting roughly the same space over a compact, club-ready swing.
