Outside Riddim – Heights Records

Outside Riddim, produced by Heights Records and released in 2020, lines up ten dancehall cuts from nine artists and keeps the focus on a straightforward modern riddim approach rather than a crowded concept. The set brings in Anonimus on She Got the Style, two versions of Bobby Danejah’s I Love It, plus cuts from Crude E’vil, Devyus, Rutino, Swade, Voltage Badskull, and Why Y, with Swade’s Kibba Yuh Mouth emerging as one of the key tracks. The instrumental is also included as Flipside’s Outside Riddim, which helps frame the project as a producer-led showcase built around one rhythm with different voices and styles riding it.
